Kettle Valley Railway Trail Network
Stretching along 500 km. of scenic gravel track, the gentle 2.2% to 3% grade into Penticton travels through vineyards, orchards, wineries, and offers unparalleled views of Okanagan Lake. This historic former railway is shared by the Trans Canada Trail and ideal for walking or cycling. Guided day/overnight excursions are also available.
Wineries
Featuring unique architectural styles, there are 89 wineries surrounded by more than 2,000 hectares of vineyards within one hour of Penticton. Visitors are welcome to sample, shop, and, in select wineries, dine at their establishments. Step off the world and enter the wonderful world of wine in Penticton & Wine Country.
Golf
A golfers dream. Our Home overlooks the beautiful Sega Mesa Golf Course. Less than 100 yards to the north is the Pine Hills Golf Course.
The Okanagan Valley offers one of the longest golf seasons in Canada. Golfers have a choice of seven championship and 21 additional courses within the Penticton area. Nestled in vineyards, carved from canyons, or appearing like an oasis on the desert landscape, golfers enjoy spectacular views and natural hazards that challenge every level.
